Positions are given as A+x metres forward of the transom. In every plan the bow is to the right and starboard is at the bottom. On the lower deck two guest cabins, the day head and the master cabin all open off a single lobby; the engine room sits under the cockpit, outside the accommodation.

Brief inputs behind this arrangement

Object. Semi-displacement trawler, 15 m length overall, twin engines, flybridge.
Accommodation. Master cabin with en-suite forward, twin guest cabin to starboard, bunk cabin to port, one day head; no crew cabin.
Use. Family cruising, Mediterranean, marina berthing; cruising speed 12 knots.
Constraints. Corridor at least 0.65 m; lower-deck headroom at least 1.95 m; engine room outside the accommodation with a watertight bulkhead; two independent escape routes.

Ergonomics

The main walkway is 0.80 m: an uninterrupted run to the helm between the dining table and the stair opening.
The starboard sliding door sits abaft the helm seat; two steps down to the side deck.
Side decks are 0.45 m to starboard and 0.35 m to port; bulwark 0.75 m plus guard rail to 1.00 m.
The galley service window opens to the cockpit; three stools at the peninsula.

Main deck plan. The tinted area is the raised helm platform at +0.30 m. The stair opening is to port, just forward of the galley peninsula; the arrow shows the descending direction.

Systems

Fuel, 2 × 1,400 L against the engine room sides, centred at A+4.3: trim change as the tanks empty stays below 0.3°.
Fresh water, 2 × 400 L, and 300 kg of lithium batteries sit under the stair, within 1 m of the LCG and low in the hull.
Black water tanks sit directly under the heads, at A+6.0 and A+11.5.
Watertight bulkhead at A+5.0: A-30 fire rating, 45 dB acoustic. Collision bulkhead at A+13.5.
Escape routes: the stair, the master deck hatch and the opening portlight in the twin cabin.
