Privacy notice

How Plotvio handles your data: what we store, why, for how long, and how to have it removed.

Last updated: 8 September 2026

Who is responsible

Plotvio is a product of Talivio Technology OÜ, registered in Estonia, Harju maakond, Tallinn, Ahtri tn 12, 15551. For anything in this notice, write to [email protected]. We are the data controller for the data described here. We have not appointed a data protection officer; we are a very small company and one is not required.

What we collect today

Plotvio is not open yet. The only thing this site does is keep a waiting list, so the only personal data we hold is what you type into that form, plus two technical details we record with it.

DataWhyLegal basis
Email addressTo email you once when Plotvio launches, and at most monthly after that.Your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a))
What you are (owner, designer, company, yacht, curious)To know who is interested, and to write to the right people first.Consent
Country, and your one-line note if you write oneTo understand which markets and project types the interest comes from.Consent
Whether you agreed to a 30-minute research callSo we only contact you about a call if you said yes. This is a separate tick box from the email consent.Consent
Time of consent, and the first two blocks of your IP address (for example 203.0)Proof that consent was given, and rough geography. We deliberately do not store your full IP address here.Consent, and our legitimate interest in being able to show consent was given (Art. 6(1)(f))

Not yet collected

Plots, floor plans, briefs, images and payment details are not collected today, because the configurator is not running yet. When it opens, this notice will be rewritten before the first real user, and anyone on the waiting list will be told what changed.

Spam protection

The waiting-list form is protected by a behavioural check built by us, not a third-party CAPTCHA. It looks at summary signals from your session — how many mouse or touch samples occurred, roughly how far the pointer travelled, how many keystrokes and focus changes there were, and how long the form was open. It does not record what you typed, where exactly you moved, or any device fingerprint, and nothing is sent to another company. If the check rejects a submission we log the reason, the score and the IP address for security purposes; those log lines are kept for 14 days.

Analytics

We count visits with Talivio's own analytics, running on our own servers. It sets no cookies, does not follow you across sites, and does not build a profile of you. That is why this site shows no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

Cookies and local storage

We set a session cookie so the form can protect itself against cross-site request forgery, a locale cookie if you choose a language, and we store your light or dark theme choice in your browser. All three are strictly necessary or set by your own choice, and none is used for advertising.

Who else sees your data

  • Our server, rented in Europe, where the database and the site run.
  • Our mail server, also ours, used to send you the launch email and to notify us of a new signup.
  • Talivio's internal dashboard, which receives error reports and a heartbeat from this site. Waiting-list entries are not sent to it.

We do not sell your data, do not share it with advertisers, and do not use it to train any model. Your data stays in the European Union.

How long we keep it

Waiting-list entries are kept until Plotvio launches and you have been told, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. If the product is abandoned, the list is deleted within 30 days of that decision. Security log lines are kept for 14 days.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict or stop using it, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent you can withdraw that consent at any time, which does not affect what we did before you withdrew it.

For the waiting list you do not need to write to anyone: the box at the top of this page emails you a link that shows your record and deletes it in one click. For anything else, write to [email protected] and we answer within 30 days. If you are unhappy with how we handled it, you can complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee) or to the authority where you live.

Automated decisions

Nothing here makes a decision about you with legal or similarly significant effects. The behavioural check can refuse a form submission; if that happens to you, email us and we will add you to the list by hand.

Changes

When this notice changes materially — in particular when the configurator opens and starts handling plots, briefs and payments — we will update the date at the top and email everyone on the waiting list before the change takes effect.
